AN AUTHENTIC WILDERNESS GUESTHOUSE
On the south of Finnish Lapland (150km), on the shore of beautiful Iijärvi lake in the wild Est region there is an old wilderness logs cottage dating from 1875. A traditional wooden log sauna, a bathroom, dry toilets and a log cabin to store wood and fishing equipment for an amazing place. Main cabin measures 40 square meters. On ground floor a kitchen with gas stove, a oven and a pantry. A living room with stove wood, a library corner and a open space for meals. Upstair, a mezzanine. A litlle private sleeping cabin especially for the guests with 1 twin bed and 1 single bed.
With less than 3 inhabitants per square kilometer you'll live an anthentic experience. The guesthouse is located in the middle of a natural sanctuary where live bears, reindeers, mooses, lynxs, otters, wolverines, fishs and birds.Located on a little island, during winter season access to the cabin is done by snowmobile or snowshoes or on a sleigh. During summer time and others seasons access is done by canoe. Electricity comes from a generator and solar panels.
